Welcome!
More than a banquet hall! Our facility provides more than a place to have
your next event. We can easily accommodate your needs whether big or small but
in a relaxing beautiful old New England setting.
Our Mission
The Penacook Historical Society was organized in 1995 to foster appreciation
for the history of the village and vicinity of Penacook, New Hampshire. We are a
non-profit organization that has acquired three historic buildings, the last
being the 1834 Rolfe House in 2008. Our goal is to not only share it's historic
beauty but raise the funds necessary for the on-going upkeep.
Your Special Day
Your next occasion to meet or celebrate is important. Whether the event is a
corporate meeting, wedding, anniversary party, birthday party, class reunion or
your next training session we understand the importance. Call our office to
schedule a viewing of our facility and take a look at our online
photo album.
Just five minutes from I-93 (Exit 17), the Rolfe Homestead is made up of the 1774 Rolfe House, a 1790's double
English Barn and the 1834 Rolfe House.
